North American Irish Dance Championships – Vancouver
Our dancers had great success and fun at this year’s North American Irish Dance Championships held in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
We had three World Qualifers:
- Hannah Cunniffe – who made the podium by placing 3rd in Girls under 15.
- Meghan Mahaffey – girls under 16
- Erin Brennan – Girls under 18.
We also had top placements from Criag Nemetz, Margaret Lesinski, Eileen Lesinski, Erin Eustace and Emma Walsh. Our senior team came in 4th out of over 50 teams. We are super proud of all our dancers in this amazing competition.
They all made great memories! And some of our families stayed on and took a cruise to Alaska – oh the opportunities Irish dance has to offer!
